SON Ladelux Headlight

A powerful dynamo headlight with a built-in buffer battery and USB charging, made in Germany.

The Ladelux runs on a 6 V / 3 W hub dynamo and draws up to 14 watts from it. It has a bright 150 lux low beam and a 200 lux high beam. The built-in 1200 mAh buffer battery keeps the high beam available at any speed, with no flicker at low speeds. The charging electronics are fully integrated: a sturdy magnetic port on the handlebar switch charges your phone, GPS or other USB device at 5 W while you ride, with a status LED that shows what the light is doing. Despite all that, it weighs about the same as a standard bicycle headlight.

What you need

• Ladelux handlebar switch (required, sold separately): the light is switched on and off from the switch, which also holds the charging port.
• SON Charging Cable with Magnetic Connector (sold separately): USB-C or for Apple, needed to charge devices.
• A 6 V / 3 W AC hub dynamo. Not for e-bikes or pedelecs.

Connection options

• Spade connectors: 120 cm cable to the dynamo without connectors fitted; 2.8 mm spade connectors included separately.
• Coaxial: 120 cm cable to the dynamo with a SON coaxial connection cable and coaxial connector fitted; coaxial adapter included.

Recommended mounts: delux 3D handlebar bracket, or a milled fork crown bracket.
