Short bio
I am an ultra-endurance cyclist focused on persistence, long days in the saddle, and finishing no matter how long it takes. My focus isn’t on how fast I go, rather, always moving forward.
I’ve always been an active person, holding a longstanding love of exploring the great outdoors—forever the type to wonder where “that road” may lead. My passion for cycling began in earnest in 2005 after losing much of the functionality of my left leg due to endometriosis complications, picking up road cycling as a way to stay active. For 20 years, I had limited use of my left leg, including the inability to walk down stairs with both legs. But, in 2019, I got my old Trek 830 out and took to the trails. Surprisingly, I began regaining some strength and mobility and ultimately relearned how to properly walk again.
Now, I ride to test my limits and to show that progress, resilience, and consistency matter more than speed. Truly more than anything, I want to show people that if I can do it, so can they.
With plenty more dreams to tackle and countless roads and trails begging me to find the answer to “where does that go,” I am thrilled to explore where the journey leads with the Tout Terrain Team! Dream Big, Send Hard!
